The Solis team brings decades of experience in transactions as well as scaling lower middle market and middle market companies. In addition, Solis has a vast network of seasoned executives and operating partners who are brought in when their particular skills or industry experience will be additive.

Dan Lubeck

MANAGING PARTNER

Daniel Lubeck is the founder and managing partner of Solis. With expertise in strategy, operations, transaction structuring, finance, and governance, Mr. Lubeck guides the Solis team in setting the vision and investment strategy, while actively sourcing, structuring and supporting Solis investments.

Mr. Lubeck has been a private equity investor for over 25 years. Prior to founding Solis in 2002, Mr. Lubeck co-founded a leveraged buyout firm, Unique Investment Corporation. During his tenure as an investor, Mr. Lubeck has served on multiple private and public Boards of Directors, and has served as CEO of two operating companies.

Prior to private equity, Mr. Lubeck was a transactional corporate and real estate lawyer. He co founded a Southern California-based business law firm, McIntyre, Lubeck, Borgess & Burns, after working at the national law firms, Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.

Mr. Lubeck earned a law degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He is former chairman of the Southern California chapters of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and YPO Gold, and currently serves on the board of UCI Health and Team Kids, a non-profit organization focused on youth community service.

Riley Hebert

PRINCIPAL

Riley Hebert is a principal at Solis, and is responsible for investment origination, execution, and portfolio company support. Mr. Hebert joined Solis in 2025. Before joining Solis, Mr. Hebert worked as an intern for Varsity Healthcare Partners and Piper Sandler while finishing his MBA. Prior to this, he was a Senior Associate on GE HealthCare’s corporate M&A team. As part of his role at GE HealthCare, Mr. Hebert worked on a variety of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, venture investments, divestitures, and joint ventures. Prior to GE HealthCare, he was a P&L owner in the Durable Medical Equipment division at Medline Industries.

Mr. Hebert leverages his transactional experience and skillset in all aspects of the investment process including: thesis development, sourcing, underwriting, analysis, and transaction execution. In addition, Mr. Hebert uses his operational and finance experience to help portfolio companies build leadership teams and finance infrastructures that will foster sustained growth. This includes, when needed, Mr. Hebert serving as a fractional CFO.

Mr. Hebert earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois-Chicago, where he was a 3-year captain of the NCAA Division 1 baseball team. He currently serves on the board of Athletes in Action NYC, a Christian sports ministry for college athletes, and is a dedicated mentor for Access Distributed, a training program aimed at broadening access to finance careers for students from non-target schools and socioeconomically underrepresented backgrounds.

RACHEL FOX

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Rachel Fox joined Solis as the Operations Manager in 2024 and is responsible for working with Solis investors and portfolio companies, along with overseeing Solis’ marketing, entity compliance and internal operations. Ms. Fox brings over 20 years of experience working in management, project management, budget oversight and marketing.

Ms. Fox earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton. She is long-time resident of San Clemente along with her husband and their children.

LINDA O’CONNOR

CONTROLLER

As the in-house accountant for Solis Capital Partners since 2016, Linda O’Connor has provided financials for the various portfolio companies during the year and at the close of each calendar year. Ms. O’Connor works directly with our CPA firm in expediting year end tax returns. She also handles day-to-day accounting needs, such as payroll, AP, and AR at Solis Capital Partners.

Prior to joining Solis in 2016, Ms. O’Connor worked as an independent accountant for many local businesses in the Orange County area. She received her certificate in accounting from Coastline College in 1990 and also serves as a registered tax preparer in California.

Ms. O’Connor is originally from the Philadelphia area and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Her hobbies include golf, pickleball, and women’s bootcamps. A mother of two, she currently resides in Huntington Beach, CA.
